OUR MISSION
Over 80 million people across more than 70 countries are battling hunger, homelessness, violence, and unemployment. In the United States, over 500,000 people experience homelessness on any given night—a number that will continue to rise unless we implement bold, community-driven economic solutions.
At Field of Dreams Visionary Center (FODVC), we are committed to eradicating homelessness, low life expectancy, trauma, drug addiction, and poverty by fostering economic empowerment, financial literacy, health and wellness, job training and placement, houisng services and food distribution in marginalized communities. Through collective economics we also work to create sustainable pathways to home-ownership, business ownership, and financial independence—ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of prosperity.

The Dream began in 2001 when our founder worked only with Youth ages 16 - 24, providing a career development and job training program, that she titled "The STEAM Fresh Start program". The Dream began in 2001 when our founder worked only with Youth ages 16 - 24, providing a career development and job training program, that she titled "The STEAM Fresh Start program". As the dream continued to grow, our founder added a social service component to the vision in 2013, incorporating the STEAM Youth Program under the umbrella of Field of Dreams Visionary Center, Inc., that was incorporated in 2016.
Field of Dreams Visionary Center opened its westside office in the Garfield Park community in January 2017, where we served approximately 400 individuals per month and managed approximately 100 calls per day, in this marginalized community. Serving families, youth, returning citizens and homeless individuals, we have grown and adapted over the years to meet the changing needs of our community, while remaining true to our core values of compassion, respect, and integrity.
After the owner of the building sold the property, we moved our offices to the downtown area where we currently reside at 233 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago.

Our Founder and CEO, Siri Hibbler
Because of her deep passion for helping others, our Founder is the recipient of many awards for her passion and dedication to empowering individuals in marginalized communities. A serial entrepreneur and inspiring leader, Siri is known for helping and inspiring youth, helping the homeless and families in need that she showed while giving out groceries on her birthday to individuals in the Garfield Park community. She launched the Covid-19 African American Relief Fund in 2020 at the height of the Covid pandemic, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars in less than 3 months that allowed her to give out funds to businesses throughout the country to help them sustain their businesses, provide fresh groceries to senior citizens and single parents with children, and support to our front-line workers. Our leader is not just a visionary, she is a creative thinker, planner, strategist and implementor. In addition to being recognized for her Global impact, she has received several awards for her work in social services, economic and business development, including:
